What a weekend the last weekend before Christmas was this year!
With Harriet + Joe’s fabulous wedding on Saturday, followed by another great wedding at Sandon Hall on the Sunday with Nicky + Matt’s celebrations on another gorgeous winters day.
One of the things that gets me most excited and interested about weddings in the individuality each wedding holds, as with each and every couple putting their own twist on their day, it really does make for each and every wedding to both be designed and planned differently, but also to be surrounded by the personality of the Bride and Groom and their friends and families really does make every single wedding completely individual…and sooooooo much fun to be a part of!
The individuality was again shown with this Sandon Hall ‘double-header’ with Nicky + Matt’s wedding being so very different to Harriet and Joe’s, each having their own little touch of winter magic…
Nicky + Matt are a very considered and personal couple, and from when I spent the afternoon with them at Chatsworth House walking the gardens and talking to the couple a few weeks ago, I knew exactly what it would be like to document their day, and it certainly did not disappoint. Keeping things relaxed and fun throughout was the absolute key to the day, and with the fabulous winter weather on our side, it really did provide for an exciting and beautiful wedding to finish my weekend on.
Adding so many amazing touches, from the customised bridal gown from Bridal Couture by Josephine, the hand-crafted tied bouquets and flower arrangements by Breige, and the fabulous entertainment from Micky Fordola and Royale Casino just finished the night off perfectly.
From starting my day in the morning capturing Nicky and her girls getting ready, through the lovely personal ceremony in the Library, to making the most of the amazing winter weather allowing us to explore all of the gardens (exactly as if it were summer!) to the entertaining speeches and the evening…wow it was a stunner!
