Wow! What a wedding!
Harriet and Joe are such a great couple to be around, and from their engagement shoot back in the summer, I just knew their wedding was going to be pretty special to be part of…and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
Choosing the perfect winter wedding venue, Joe and Harriet held their wedding at Sandon Hall, with the ceremony at the beautiful country church of All Saints in Sandon.
It’s become somewhat of a tradition for me to finish my year at Sandon Hall, with Liz + Darren last year, and Lisa + Brandon back in 2012, but thankfully one tradition that was broken was the weather, as unlike the torrential rain of the past two years, we were blessed with a beautiful day that felt more like autumn than the middle of winter…
My day started with Harriet and her bridesmaids in the bedroom at Sandon Hall, before catching up with Joe and the boys at the Dog and Doublet, and flowing through and documenting the wedding day with them and their friends and family.
Being with such great people cannot help but make you feel especially privileged to be invited to document the most important day of their lives as a couple together, and recording that moment of their family history, but also makes this ‘job’ the most fun in the world!
It was also a huge pleasure to get to work with an old friend – and fabulous videographer – on Harriet and Joe’s Sandon Hall Wedding, with Andy and his son Stefan from Zeus Films there to capture the day.
Although the wedding has not yet been edited, I just HAD to get this little preview of their day together. Here’s a look at Harriet + Joe’s beautiful wedding captured by Sandon Hall Recommended Wedding Photographer Stuart James.
