When Annette walked into the Moat House Wedding Fayre, it was her sister that shot over to me! Over 10 years ago I’d had the pleasure of photographing Vicky + Simon’s wedding at the stunning Park House Hotel, Shifnal. Thinking back now and reminiscing, it’s amazing how our style and approach has evolved.
From the days of traditional photographs on a Hasselblad, to the documentary storytelling approach I employ today, it was really interested to talk to Vicky + Si about things, and truly wonderful to see the family again too!

Annette + Lee’s wedding was to be incredibly relaxed – and just perfect for them!

Capturing their story from the final preparations, I had the pleasure of working with the fabulous Grace Lawless Makeup Artist, as she brought the finishing touches together for Annette and the girls.
The mood in the wedding room was fabulous relaxed, with the anticipation and excitement building for the junior bridesmaids especially!

The decor brought together my Kerry and the team from Sorella was absolutely perfect, with the flowers matching the dresses wonderfully.

The gents chose their suits from ever popular Dapper Dan in Wednesfield.

Penkridge Documentary Wedding Photographer

Leaving the guests heading into the wedding ceremony, it was time to head to the bridal party for the final preparations of our bride, looking stunning in her gown from Adele Louise.

The emotion in the room when Colin, the Father of the Bride, entered to see his daughters and our Bride in particular, was amazing to be around and capture.

Back into the Acton Suite the nerves were clearly building for our groom, awaiting the arrival of his beautiful bride.
Lee’s eldest boys were next to him on Best Man and Usher duties, with Josh about to enter with the bridesmaids and our bride.

Elegant Wedding Photography

In a break from the norm, my coverage of Annette + Lee’s wedding came shortly after the meal with the evening portraits. But with incredible golden light, it was a fitting way to bring the story to an end!
