After sharing the first previews of Sam + Manf’s winter wedding at Muncaster Castle in Cumbria last week, I’m delighted to bring the fully featured post to you all here today.
Muncaster Castle is nestled in the hills near to Ravensglass in Cumrbia, and is a wonderful setting for a wedding. Having visited a few years ago – for a slightly different occasion, a halloween spectacular! – I knew that if the weather was remotely kind we would just have the most amazing day. And despite not being perfect, with gale force winds and occasional heavy rain, and far better than the 80mph+ gale force winds that were forecast, and of course with Manf being such a trooper and braving the elements, the photographs from their Muncaster Castle wedding came out exactly as I would have wanted.
Sam + Manf are a wonderful couple with a fantastic group of friends and great families, and from the first moment we arrived we were made to feel like guests and we really had a wonderful time with everyone.
Sam + Manf put so much time and attention into making sure their day was perfect, from their choice of setting, the entertainment from the World Owls Trust who visited with two birds of prey, the great close magician on the evening and the whole relaxed atmosphere led to everyone having such a brilliant time.
It was a true pleasure to be along to capture Sam + Manf’s wonderful wedding at Muncaster Castle and I cannot wait to sit down with them after the Christmas break to put together their storytelling wedding album.
