let’s work together

Part of the team on the day

I’m not just there to capture photos of your wedding – I’m there to make sure your day runs smoothly too. I get to know you both at our first meeting, which means I’m on the same page and know what’s important to you and what you love. Oh, and I’m the best at bridesmaid duties during the couple portraits – crinkly dress or phone in the pocket? I’ve got you!

getting to know you

What do you want from your day?

From our meetings at the studio, to our final meeting before the big day, I try to really get to know you. This helps me tell the story of your relationship exactly how you want to remember it.

I’ll make it fun

Relaxed, natural and unobtrusive photos

I blend into your wedding like a guest from the moment I arrive, capturing your story from inside out, and having a lot of fun with you all in the process! It’s all part of how I get those natural photos for you, and make you feel totally relaxed in front of the camera.

I’ve done this before

With 15+ years experience, I’ve got this covered

Whether it’s raining, you’re worried the first dance will look awkward, or think you’ll look silly in the photos, don’t worry. I’ve done loads of weddings and know how to make it all look awesome and allow you to kick back and enjoy the day as you should!

Be yourselves and have fun

Enjoy your day and let me capture the story

When working with me, the most important thing is to be relaxed and be yourselves – enjoy your day together with your friends and family, and let me capture all of the individual stories that will make your day truly special.

FAQ

You won’t know until you ask.

You’ve probably never worked with a wedding photographer before, so you’re likely to have a lot of questions. If you’ve checked out my portfolio and you’re ready to take the next step, book a chat and I’ll answer every question you have and some you didn’t know to ask.

But – to get you started, here are a few of the most common.

What do we get and do you offer short coverage?

Each one includes a pre-wedding conversation, a full 10 hours on the day and a beautifully curated gallery of around 400 to 800 edited photos, bringing every moment of the day back to life for you.

I don’t offer anything less, although if you would like to add more  – booking extra time for the full evening to capture every twist and shout of the dancing, that’s fine. I understand your wedding photography is an investment, so please talk to me before you book.

Am I the right photographer for you?

After the bouquet has been thrown, the cake cut and the last dance, your photos are your lasting keepsake. It’s a huge privilege and responsibility to get them right. That’s why we start with a coffee, a chat and maybe even an engagement shoot. It gives you a chance to get to know me – and for me to get to know you. If I don’t think my documentary style is right for you, I will tell you – and recommend other photographers if I can – that would suit you better. It’s not you, it’s us.

Which wedding venues or locations do you recommend?

I have photographed weddings at some stunning exclusive-use venues around the UK, including Weston Hall, Rowton Castle, Coton House Farm, The Ashes Barns and Pendrell Hall. I’ve also photographed engagement shoots in Lisbon and Etching Hill and a honeymoon in Rome. I can certainly provide suggestions, but the true test to finding the perfect location is choosing one where you feel comfortable.

Will you photograph unique or themed weddings?

Some of the most unusual weddings I’ve photographed have been themed weddings. If you want to introduce unique elements or ceremonies, working with a celebrant is also a great way to add personal touches to your day. Whatever you’ve chosen to do, I’m ready to get involved.

Do I need to feed my wedding photographer?

I’m going to spend at least 10 hours of your wedding day with you – carrying equipment, capturing hundreds of photographs and dashing about while you dance. You don’t have to sit me at a table with your guests – I won’t be sat down much anyway – but it is etiquette to have a meal set aside for your wedding photographer. Besides, we want to keep energy levels high until the very last click.
