Creative Storytelling Wedding Photography by Cannock Wedding Photographers
I first had the pleasure of meeting Thea + Peadar at a wedding fayre at Oak Farm Hotel, and it was amazing to hear I made a big impression with my “passion for photography and natural style to capture the moment”. I couldn’t wish for anything more!
Capturing a wedding is all about recording moments. Producing a collection of moments in a narrative that captures the emotion, the feeling and the excitement of the wedding. Taking the viewer back to that day, and connecting deeply with it.
If I can do that for my clients, and truly connect with them, and their day, it makes me very happy!
Thea + Peadar’s wedding day was to be a little different – as the couple were already married ahead of the celebrations in Brewood and Cannock!
Back in March, they took their friends and family to the incredible setting of the ice hotel in Finland – and after seeing the photos, and hearing the stories, I just have to go and visit! The photos from the wedding in the chapel were stunning!
On the lead up to the big day, I got to spend a little time with Thea and Peadar making the most of one of their favourite locations on Cannock Chase.
Choosing an evening shoot, we were also able to make the most of genuinely fantastic light and captured an exclusive collection of portraits for them both.

Wedding Photographs at St Marys Brewood
Thea + Peadar’s wedding celebrations were held at the beautiful village of St Marys in Brewood, where I’d last been in the snow for JP + Sean’s wedding – thankfully, being at the end of July, the weather was much better!! :-)
The church of St Marys in Brewood is such a beautiful setting, and it was wonderful to be back to capture the blessing of Thea + Peadar’s marriage.
The couple had been so sensible and made the whole day easy for their guests, bringing everyone to the church in coaches!

As the guests took their seats, it was time for our bride’s arrival on the arm of her father, and for the emotions to grow during the procession down the aisle!
Seeing the family involved from the very start during the Roman Catholic celebrations, showed just how vital the blessing was for the couple and the family.

From the family photographs on the church door, it was straight into the waiting coaches for the short journey back to Oak Farm Hotel for the afternoon and evening’s celebrations!
The whole day was set to be incredibly relaxed with little formality – for Thea + Peadar. It was about celebrating with their friends and family, and just having a fantastic time!

While not wanting to spend much time on formal photographs, it was terrific to steal a few minutes with Thea and Peadar to craft their natural portraits. Such a stunning couple, and with the characterful setting of Oak Farm, we were able to create a stunning collection of images.

To ensure the feel of the afternoon and evening were as relaxed as possible, the guests were treated to garden games and a stunning white bouncy castle – which proved a massive hit with the adults, possibly even-more-so than with the children!!
From the fun on the bouncy castle, it was at the giant Jenga that I spent a good few minutes, with quite possibly the most competitive game I’m photographed!!
With Peadar already having made numerous appearances on the bouncy castle, things got even better as Thea joined him!
Bride and Groom on a bouncy castle – what more could you want?! :-)
Creative Evening Wedding Photography
From capturing the relaxed evening, it was time to get creative with our Bride and Groom ahead of handing over to the band – complete with the Father of the Bride on Saxophone!
With a band as great as these guys, it took no time at all for the floor to be full and for the party to be rocking! Truly fabulous! I loved being there for both of their sets!!

And with the end of the second set of the band, my coverage concluded, but not before I finished the story in a little style for Thea + Peadar.
Thea and Peadar, thank you so much for entrusting your memories to me and allowing me to capture your wedding story. I loved every second with you all and cannot wait to bring the finished story together
