Contacting me only a few weeks before their wedding, Amy and Tammy actually came to me from a family recommendation as I’d photographed Amy’s cousins wedding back in 2010 at Netherstowe House in Lichfield. As soon as we got talking I was so glad I was available for their date, and knowing the Boathouse on Bracebridge Pool, Sutton Park I knew the day would be pretty special.
I was actually joined by my brother Stephen to capture the wedding with me, with Stephen spending his morning capturing Tammy and the girls’ preparations at Moor Hall whilst I started my morning closer to home in Shire Oak with Amy and her family and friends.
Fortunately on the day we were blessed with perfect summers weather and I think it’s safe to say everyone had an amazing time.
The Boathouse, Sutton Park is a lovely setting for a wedding, on the edge of Bracebridge Pool and blessed with so many fantastic locations for photographs on the edge of the part, and decorated with Amy + Tammy’s fabulous Vintage details, it really felt like the most perfect setting.
It was also a great pleasure to have Stephen come and join me to capture the day. Although we don’t get to work together that often, when we do it’s always pretty good fun! And with his work entwined with my own, the coverage Amy + Tammy have got of their Boathouse Sutton Park wedding is stunning.
I hope you enjoy sharing their story.
Thank you for entrusting me to capture your Civil Partnership Amy + Tammy, looking forward to talking about photographing the wedding in the new year!
