Weston Hall has fast become one of the most popular Staffordshire wedding venues and it’s easy to see why. It’s certainly become one of my absolute favourites over the last few years!
I’m lucky enough to work at Weston Hall throughout the year on numerous occasions, however, despite being there on many occasions in 2016, Claire + Garry’s wedding was my first visit of 2017 – and what a wedding it was!
I first sat down to talk with Claire and Garry about their wedding plans just over a year before the big day and knew the relaxed and natural approach would be perfect for them both. My coverage started on the morning with Claire and the girls safely in the hands of Gemma from Dream Bridal Hair and Helen Pearson MUA in Cannock before heading to the venue to capture the developing nerves of our groom…
The gifts for the bridesmaids certainly went down well…

After a minor dealy whilst Claire sorted the iPod for the wedding music – Garry, you were nearly in big trouble there!! – it was off to Weston Hall!

From the beautiful wedding ceremony, it was time to head into the fabulous gardens at Weston Hall for the drinks reception on the terrace…
After the family photographs on the lawns, it was great to spend a little time with Claire + Garry around the grounds creating relaxed and natural portraits…
From the drinks reception and confetti shenanigans, it was in to the wedding breakfast, with the room beautifully styled by Sorella Decor.
I do love an Amerton Cake ;)
Following the fabulous wedding breakfast – the food at Weston is always spot-on! – it was time for one of the highlights of the day…the wedding speeches!
From the entertainment of the speeches, it was fabulous the threat of rain had disappeared once again, leaving the giests the chance to relax on the terrace, and be entertained by the fabulous Owen Strickland!
From the cake cutting fun, it was time to open the dancefloor…and it didn’t take long for the floor to be filled either!
Alas, time flew by and we soon came to the end of my scheduled coverage, so it was time to head out into the grounds with the couple for a few signature portraits to draw their Weston Hall wedding story to a close…
Claire and Garry, I had an absolute blast with you and your guests all day long and it was a true pleasure to capture your wedding story. The weather certainly helped bring everything together, and with your fabulous choice of suppliers, your day could not have been better. Thank you for inviting me into your day and entrusting the documenting of your story to me. I cannot wait to bring your completed story together.
