Amelie + Matthew first came to speak to me about their fabulous Wedding at The Moat House at the weddings fayres at the end of 2011 at The Moat House and Sandon Hall and as soon as we sat down in January and started talking about their plans and their ideas, I just knew my style and approach was absolutely right for them, and I knew we were going to have a fabulous day together.
A few weeks before the wedding I actually got to spend an afternoon at Monsal Head with Amelie and Matt when we revisited the location of the engagement for their pre-wedding shoot with me. Spending time together talking, laughing and getting used to being in front of the camera, again reinforced the relationship we had developed and strengthened the bond for their wedding day.
When the day of their wedding at The Moat House arrived, we were blessed with a stunning summers day, and despite the best efforts of the slippery road that caused Amelie’s mom to have a car accident the week before the wedding, and the best man getting a broken nose only a few days prior to the wedding fooling around, the wedding day could not have been more perfect for both Amelie and Matt and their friends and family.
A very relaxed wedding day from start to end, with so many little personal touches and creations from the Potteries and Stoke themed table plans and decorations (and the garter!!) there was so much to enjoy on their day.
The Moat House was again an absolutely perfect setting for the wedding, and with the addition of live music from Finesse Piano and Cello setting a fabulous tone to the day, and the inspired choice of a rock anthem for the first dance, the day truly was Amelie and Matts perfect day.
I hope you enjoy sharing this look at their fantastic wedding at The Moat House, Acton Trussell.
