Valentines Break in Newquay | Tolcarne Apartments

Back in February me and Beki went away just after Valentines for 4 days in Newquay. With how busy we both are – me with work and Beki with training to be a Primary School Teacher – getting quality time away really is so important. I found an absolutely beautiful apartment complex right on the beach at Tolcarne and booked it up as soon as I found it. I had actually planned on staying in a quirky B&B up in the town but due to a booking error I had to find somewhere else – and what I found with Tolcarne Beach Apartments was absolutely perfect, I really couldn’t have wished for anywhere better to go away, especially as it was a complete surprise to Beki!!

We set of to Newquay on the Monday morning after Valentines and although I had booked the apartments I really was blown away when I was actually there – it was like a little slice of Cornish heaven.

We had such a great time away and we will definitely be back down Newquay again as soon as we can get chance. The area is absolutely beautiful and we’re definitely glad that we’ve now got use of a greta caravan (thanks Mom and Dad!!) at Doniford right by the stunning St Audries Park a wedding venue I definitely want to work at in the near future!!
We’ve got some great fun video footage which I’ll share on here as soon as I get chance too, along with the photos and video from Saundersfoot and Doniford where we’re off to this weekend and into next week!
Oh and for those interested who follow this blog, all of the panoramic shots have been created using the fantastic Calico Panorama, a piece of software that is so ridiculously good it truly is worth every $0.01 of the $39!!
