The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall is a stunning venue, and it was fantastic to be back there to photograph Hannah + Ashley’s wedding.
It had been a few years since I had been to The Mount Hotel, and it was wonderful to see all of the old character of the building had been retained, with the investment on the gardens and the bedrooms really adding to the setting.
My coverage for Hannah and Ashley was a little shorter than normal, starting off with the arrival of our groom and groomsmen before heading to the bedrooms to capture the final preparations of Hannah and her bridesmaids before the main event.
As soon as I say Ashley on the day, I knew that the wedding was going to have a very special feeling to it, as there was already so much emotion on display…only to be added to and clearly displayed as the day progressed.
One of the beautiful underlying stories of the wedding day was the combining of families, with the children of Hannah + Ashley all being brought in to one home, with their daughters having such a large part in the wedding, and being very emotional themselves.
The ceremony held in the Great Hall with their closest friends and family was a true pleasure to witness and capture, with the display of emotion from Ashley and also his daughter really bringing home the importance of the occasion.
Blessed with beautiful summer weather, despite being held during Wimbledon, the wedding had a wonderful relaxed feel throughout the afternoon, with the guests enjoying the drinks reception on the back lawns and the children all enjoying playing on the open spaces.
Following the all important family photographs, it was time to enjoy the gardens with Hannah + Ashley, making sure they were both completely relaxed allowing us to capture real and beautiful moments between the two of them.
The coverage for Hannah + Ashley’s wedding concluded with capturing the wonderfully entertaining speeches, before leaving the couple to relax and enjoy their evening reception.
It really was fantastic to be invited back to The Mount Hotel and especially to be there capturing such a wonderful wedding.
