Tara + Dan | St James Acton Trussell + Hadley Park House

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely wedding that took me back to St James’ Church, Acton Trussell – which some of you may remember I last photographed on the 30th December 2008 and I was very very happy to see a distinct lack of scaffolding when I arrived!! The church has been undergoing some renovation work over the start of this year but thankfully, just-in-time for Tara + Dan, the offending item’s were removed…

The reception was at a venue I have had the equal pleasure of working at a number of times over the years from the first wedding held there under the current ownership in 2005 – Hadley Park. Hadley is a great venue with so much going for it, and after having not photographed a wedding there since the Summer of 2006, it was very nice to be back!!
Saturday 20th June was a beautiful day and the weather thankfully remained with us, with the only discerning spots of rain falling whilst travelling from the church to the reception. On the day Dan and the boys certainly looked the part in their suits from Greenwoods, only to be completely out-shone by the girls in their dresses from Deborah Jane in Stafford.
The cake as always from Amerton Farm looked pretty amazing too!
I truly had a great time recording Tara and Dan’s special day and I can’t wait to show them all the photos.
