Having an exclusive use venue, with no corkage, set in stunning grounds for your guests to enjoy, make Pendrell Hall a great wedding venue!
But enough about Pendrell, let’s talk about what mattered on the 2nd September 2016 – the FABULOUS wedding of Jennifer and Gary! Wow, what a wedding!!! From the morning preparations in the Love is Enough room, capturing the prep of the boys in the bedroom, through to the mother of all parties with Apollo Soul, this was one unique wedding!
I first met Jen + Gary from The Belfry Wedding Show, and after sitting down with them both on a Sunday afternoon just over a year ahead of their wedding, I knew I was going to enjoy their day!
On the lead up to the big day, I got to spend a little more time with Jen + Gary for their pre-wedding portraits at Birches Valley and knew not only was the wedding going to be fun, but Jen + Gary were awesome to photograph too!!
Wedding Photography at Pendrell Hall
On the wedding day, with incredible September weather on our side, things were set to be pretty amazing!
My coverage started in the morning capturing the preparations of the bridal party safely in the hands of the fantastic Rebecca Frances on Makeup duties!
With the boys getting ready in the Bluebell Bedroom at Pendrell Hall, it allowed me to switch my time between them both, capturing the complete story of the wedding morning.
With our groom looking very dapper in his suit from Dapper Dan Menswear, it was time for the emotions to start building with the bridesmaids presenting the card and gift from Jen.
Alas, there was more laughter than tears from Jen and the girls, but amazing to capture!
With Gary heading to great the guests, it was the perfect time to capture some of the details brought together by the couple, the venue and of course Entwined Flowers!
From the cutest moment with Jen and her little boy Louis, I left the girls to get ready in their dresses from Coast and captured the arrival of our guests.

The next photo is one of my favourites from the wedding morning, with everyone coming together to make sure our bride is truly perfect! The dress from Wedding Belles of Four Oaks was amazing!!
As the guests headed into the wedding ceremony, it was time for one of my favourites moments of the wedding – the moment the Father of the Bride sees his daughter as a bride for the first time!

With the deed done, and the new Mr & Mrs Whitcroft showered in confetti, it was time for Jen & Gary to relax in the stunning setting with their guests.
Natural Bride and Groom Portraits in the Stunning Grounds of Pendrell Hall
Asn we left the guests to relax in the gardens, it was time to spend some one-on-one time with our Bride and Groom in the beautiful grounds of Pendrell Hall.
Wedding Breakfast at Pendrell Hall
From a little time having fun with Jen + Gary around the grounds of Pendrell Hall, it was nearly time for the wedding breakfast, with the room looking just stunning. The elegant and uncomplicated decoration with amazing flowers from Entwined Flowers made the room look unique!
From the entrance to the cheers of their friends and family, it was straight into the wedding speeches. Always an absolute highlight to capture the reactions and emotions on full display!
A relaxed summers evening in Codsall Wood
From the beautiful speeches and the wedding breakfast, it was time for everyone to relax into the grounds of Pendrell Hall. Capturing little Louis playing football with his grandad, and of course, a couple of beautiful evening portraits before the party got started, really was awesome!
Getting the Party Started with Apollo Soul
From cutting the beautiful cake by Ben the Cake Man – I love his cakes!! – It was over to Apollo Soul to get the party started. And what a party it was!!!
Creative Night Time Wedding Portraits
As the party came to the briefest of lulls, it was the perfect time to capture a couple of portraits to conclude the wedding story, before we got back on the floor!!
From a couple of minutes break, I couldn’t keep Jen or Gary away from the floor for long. With their FANTASTIC group of friends and the excellent music from Apollo Soul, it was the party to end all parties!!
Jennifer and Gary – what can I say? Your wedding was just the most fantastic day from start to end, and I just loved capturing your story! Thank you for having me along, and treating me to the best party of the year!!
