Lucy and Sean are such an amazing couple and I’m so glad that fate brought us back together and I was able to, and indeed invited along to, document their stunning Somerford Hall wedding in Brewood.
I actually went to primary school with both Lucy and Sean but after I went to a different secondary school I lost touch with them, only to bump into Sean a couple of years ago whilst photographing his work colleagues wedding at The Moat House in Acton Trussell. As soon as Lucy and Sean started planning their wedding they got straight in touch with me and I was delighted to be able to share in their day.
After we spent an afternoon together walking around Sutton Park and capturing relaxed portraits of the two of them, I just knew the wedding was going to be absolutely fantastic – and it didn’t disappoint.
Starting the day with Lucy and her parents and bridesmaids set the relaxed fun tone for the day, and with the weather staying amazing throughout, the day could not have been more perfect.
All of the little details Lucy and Sean had chosen and put together worked to make their day totally unique and perfect for them.
I’ve also got to make a special mention for Sean’s little brother Joe who was best man for the day – and did the most amazing job with the Best Man’s speech – he really nailed it, what a star!
I really had a fabulous time with Lucy, Sean their families and friends, and topped off by seeing other old school friends, and having a great time with everyone, the day really was incredibly special.
I hope you enjoy sharing this insight into Lucy + Sean’s wedding at Somerford Hall, with my relaxed reportage approach capturing their personal wedding story.
