The variety of different weddings, both from settings, from scale but most importantly the people, really is what makes this job special, as each day really is unique…

For Helen + Paul’s intimate wedding it was to the beautiful Tower of the Winds at Shugborough Hall with their gathering of close friends and family for a beautifully relaxed wedding. With coverage only for a short period during the afternoon from the arrivals at Shugborough through to the start of the wedding breakfast in the Garden Room, it was wonderful to be invited in to their day and to capture the story for them.

The light at the Tower of the Winds is always beautiful, with the tall windows surrounding the room, bathing the ceremony in warm light, and with views over the Shugborough grounds toward the hall, it really is quite the most perfect setting.

A lovely emotional ceremony followed by drinks and canapes with the guests before it was time to explore the stunning gardens surrounding the house.

Leaving the guests to enjoy the gardens and surroundings of Shugborough Hall, we had a few short minutes to explore some of the highlights of the gardens which were in beautiful spring bloom with our bride and groom…

It was so special being at Shugborough for the perfect time with the wisteria in full bloom…something I have not had the chance to see and photograph before…truly beautiful!
