Last weekend I had the pleasure of sharing Sharon and Adam’s wedding at Hogarths Hotel in Dorridge, Solihull – quite simply one of the most relaxed, personal and gorgeous venues to work at throughout the area. There is always a special feel about a ‘Hogarths wedding’, with a relaxed feel allowing my approach to document the natural day fitting in perfectly – and we always have a lot of fun in the process!!
Sharon and Adam’s wedding was absolutely no exception to the rule, and with starting at their house, which happens to be two minutes from our base in Pelsall, everything was perfect from the start of the morning. Although the house was as manic as can be expected on a wedding morning, Sharon managed to keep her cool, with her bridesmaids and mom looking after her, and dressing her in the stunning Maggie Sottero gown from Solihull Brides before heading to join my buddy Simon who was with Adam and the boys at Hogarths.
Thankfully the weather didn’t spoil the day, and despite a light shower, which thankfully passed before Sharon and the girls arrived, we all had a fantastic summers afternoon sharing their special day. The details as ever at Hogarths were perfect, with the flowers by Lilly Whites in Sutton finishing everything off perfectly.
I have only one slight concern about the wedding, that being the act of a select group of the guys, making a game of striking each other in the jewels…hmmm, not a game I’d want to be playing, though the expressions on some of the photos are pretty epic :)
