Yesterday was the final wedding of 2013 for me, and what an amazing year it has been!
To conclude the year photographing Lizzi + Darren’s wedding at the ever popular and stunning Sandon Hall was a real treat, and I’m delighted to bring the first previews of their day here for everyone to enjoy.
Lizzi + Darren have been together for over 11 years and are so incredible to see together and to listen talking about each other – being around people so incredibly in love, and perfect for each other, makes my job of documenting their special day so special.
Choosing Sandon Hall for their winter wonderland wedding, was the perfect choice, as not only is it a beautiful venue, but with the winter weather that hit us yesterday meant everyone had the space to relax and enjoy themselves, and to provide no limit to the photographs we could create.
I had a great time yesterday from the morning preparations with the girls in the bedroom at Sandon, to catching up with the boys at the Dog and Doublet where they were getting ready, through the whole day concluding with the fantastic band The Distractions entertaining all of the wedding party – and what moves were being thrown on the dance floor!!
The whole day could not have been better and it was a pleasure to be alongside everyone working to make sure Lizzi and Darren’s day was the perfect day they had dreamed of and planned for.
I can’t wait to be creating their complete story in the new year, but for now, before I shut the office for Christmas, here are the first previews of their stunning winter wedding at Sandon Hall, Staffordshire.
