A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of enjoying a fabulous weekend at Sandon Hall in Staffordshire documenting not one but two weddings over the weekend.
I love how each and every wedding is totally unique in it’s own special way, and this could never have been truer with Eve + Ian and Gemma + Adrian‘s wedding being completely different to each other, with only the venue and the documentary style of photography requested by both couples being the common ground.
Eve and Ian’s wedding was incredibly relaxed and from when the day started for me in Penkridge at Inspired Hair Design through to the fantastic party on the evening it was a pleasure to be there and document the day in my reportage style.
Being a ‘fly on the wall’ during the preparations at Inspired Hair Design in Penkridge was a brilliant way to start the say and get to know the girls before we headed to Eve + Ian’s house in Stafford.
Sometimes I just love the details that are around a clients house…
Jackie Shore of Creative Hair and Beauty did a wonderful job of the makeup on the day.
Fortunately Ian was getting ready at his parents house which was only round the corner from Eve and Ian’s house so I was able to split my time between the two houses and capture Ian in a rather nervous mood…
It was then on to Sandon Hall for the wedding in the library.
One very proud dad walking his emotional daughter into the wedding ceremony at Sandon Hall.
Sometimes the simplest of angles can look so amazing for photographs.
Fortunately after the rain show we had just after the ceremony when we tried to start the group photographs, the weather dried up and we were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens that Sandon has to offer.
I’ve always loved the entrance to the wedding breakfast at Sandon down the grand staircase to the waiting guests.
Thank you for inviting me to share your day Eve + Ian. It was a true pleasure.
