Rachael and Tam are a great fun couple and although I was in the rather unusual position of not having met Tam until the day of the wedding, or indeed Rachael until a few days before, but the day was absolutely fantastic.
Choosing a late afternoon wedding gave a great relaxed feel to the day, and it really was fantastic to be back at Weston Park for the first time in nearly a year – still one of my all time favourite venues.
Rachael and Tam actually live in Cardiff although Rachael’s family roots are back up in Shropshire, so in a special way it was a time to come home, made even more special by the fact Rachael’s horse Jasper was on hand to be an incredible mode of transport to arrive at the wedding – complete with the whole wedding party waiting outside for her to arrive!
I truly had a fantastic afternoon and evening with Rachael, Tam and their families and the photos have come out exactly as I hoped, and with the great party on the night in the orangery with music from Second City Soul, we’ve definitely got some great photos to design into a stunning album for Rachael and Tam to preview when they get back from what I’m sure will be an incredible honeymoon on safari in Kenya with a relaxing week in the sun on the coast to finish (jealous? much!)
