Lisa and Richard are such a great couple and from when I first spoke to them nearly twelve months ago to the day, and after sitting down with them in early October, I knew we were going to have a fabulous time on their day…especially after we all found out that we felt the same about Seb Vettel and Mark Webber!
I actually spent a little time with Lisa + Richard on the run in to their wedding up at Barton Marina, and concluding our shoot by spending time just sitting and talking, and enjoying a refreshing beverage, we really started to get excited about the day and I just knew it was going to be another wonderful 2014 wedding.
Packington Moor is an absolutely stunning wedding venue in Lichfield and one I’ve had the pleasure of working at many times over the years, but it was great to see that Lisa + Richard had put their own individual stamp on the Oat Barn with their home-made bunting really adding a lovely vintage feel to the room.
Being blessed with characterful grounds with the farm buildings and the historic farm house, and the stunning grounds, Packington really is a venue you’re blessed with photographic opportunities, and being helped with warm summer light for their portrait session in the gardens, the whole day could not have been better.
My coverage started with the morning preparations of both Lisa and Richard in the adjoining coach house cottages, flowing through the day with them to the fabulous evening entertainment by the Rat Pack Boys providing a great lift to the evening.
I had such a fabulous time with Lisa + Richard on their wedding day, with their friends and family being so incredibly warm and welcoming, the wedding could not have been more of a pleasure to be part of.
