After sharing the first previews a couple of days ago, I couldn’t wait any longer to share this featured post of Sally + Jared’s wedding from Packington Moor in Lichfield I’m delighted to share their featured story here today.
Sally + Jared’s wedding was a fantastic day to be part of – relaxed from the start through to the end, and with glorious winter sunshine on us all afternoon long, it really could not have been better.
Every element of the day fell perfectly into place – thanks in no small part to Sally’s meticulous planning and attention to detail – and with the relaxed feel of a mid-week celebration, it was a true pleasure to be along to document the day.
There were actually three photographers at the wedding from my family, with my father Les from Barry James Photography along to capture the main elements of the day as a wedding present to Sally + Jared and my brother Stephen their with his beautiful wife Emma there as a guest being a close friend of both Jared and Sally.
It’s always good fun to be working with either my dad or brother on weddings, and it was a pleasure to have Les there capturing alternative photographs to what I was looking for, which has brought together a fabulous story for the two of them.
It also helped having Ste there when it came to packing down the PhotoBooth at the end of the night too – cheers mate :)
So to the wedding…
After spending a little time a couple of weeks ago with Sally + Jared in Sutton Park it really made my day when I woke up to clear blue skies – and the day only got better with beautiful warm winter sun in the afternoon when we were taking the couple around the grounds and gardens at Packington Moor. I really do love winter weddings when you get a day like it was for Sally + Jared…not sure Sally loved the cold though!
Thank you both for entrusting your wedding photography to my documentary style – it was a pleasure to be part of your day, and I’m so so glad the weather played ball for us!
I had a great time with you both, your friends and families. Sure I can’t tempt you into having a story book wedding album produced…? Go on…you know you want to!
