The Old School House in Weeford, Lichfield is such a stunning setting. I’ve had the opportunity of photographing many weddings there over the years, and knew Natalie and Liam’s would be a great day to be part of!

Natalie and Liam live just around the corner from their church, Christchurch in Burntwood, with my coverage starting with the final preparations of the bridal party.

Upon arrival at the couples home, the mood was so incredibly relaxed! With Hayley and Mel on hair and makeup duties, our bride and bridal party were looking fabulous! Natalie found her gown from The Bridal Rooms, and as soon as I saw it, I just knew it was THE dress for her! Just perfection matched beautifully by the bridesmaid’s gowns from White Rose and the stunning flowers.

Leaving the bride to her final preparations, and the parents of Natalie excited in anticipation, it was time to see how our groom was feeling!

Christchurch is a fabulous little church, and with the vicar on-side, I was thrilled to be able to capture the wedding ceremony naturally.

From a journey in style, it was straight to The Old School House. I was so happy the mild October weather stayed with us and we were able to make use of the stunning grounds at The Old School House, capturing relaxed portraits whilst the guests enjoyed the drinks reception.

The styling of the marquee was beautifully simple, bringing the theme into the venue perfectly with the sashes and the flowers. The cake topped brought an interesting reaction, however…

And with that, my coverage of Natalie and Liam’s Old School House wedding came to an end – what a fabulous wedding to be part of!

Our photographer helped us through every step of of the day. He looked smart and blended in with our other guests. We didn’t feel like we were having our

photo taken at all. He was so friendly and everybody loved him. He took the time to know who was who and that felt really special. He managed to capture moments that we may not have seen which was amazing; the secret smile on a face or the infectious laugh. We cannot thank him enough.
