Moat House Summer Wedding Photographs
Fabulous Early Summer Wedding at The Moat House
Hannah + Will’s wedding at The Moat House in Acton Trussell was such a treat from start to end!
Blessed with truly fabulous May weather, a little too good actually for the guys in tweed suits, the day could not have flowed better.
My coverage for their day started with the bridal party preparations in the hands of Caro Millington ahead of the wedding ceremony in the early afternoon.
The dressing of the wedding came from the fabulous Design Elegance with flowers from the ever stunning Lavender.
With a very relaxed mood from the bridal party, to the groomsmen, to the guests enjoying the fabulous countryside setting in the sun, everything was lined up for a fabulous day, and one that was a true pleasure to document.
Here’s a look at Hannah + Will’s wedding…let’s just say it was a little bit fun to capture!
It was clear pretty quickly that Hannah’s niece Zilpha was going to do her level best to steal the show!
Hannah’s representation of her bridal hair as the tiara first went on…love it!
Leaving Hannah and the girls in the hands of Caro, I headed back down to the wonderful gardens to find the groom and groomsmen relaxed in the gardens, soaking up the sun…
How gorgeous are the flowers from Lavender…
Leaving the boys to greet the arriving guests, my narrative takes me back to the bridal party for the finishing touches, and the dressing of our bride in her stunning gown from Wedding Bliss.
I loved seeing this moment as Ian, the Father of the Bride, was waiting patiently outside of the bedroom for his daughter…
From the building excitement of the bridal party, I headed down to the ceremony for our waiting groom, who was so ridiculously relaxed!
The time came for the start of the ceremony, and documenting the change in Will’s expression was fabulous… Capturing the building of emotion during the ceremony is always something I love to do, telling the story of the feelings really take you to the moment…
From the ceremony it was straight on to the canalside for the guests to relax in the sun…what more could you ask for?
Taking a few moments away from the wedding, it was time to explore the grounds of The Moat House with Hannah + Will.
The styling of the wedding breakfast was simple but perfectly set, with the colours matching the flowers perfectly…
What an entrance!! I do love a shy, retiring groom :)
The time raced by, and it was soon time for one of my favourite sections of the day, the speeches!
Following the Father of the Bride and the Groom’s speeches, it was time for not one, but three best man’s speeches…Will certainly opened himself up for some abuse!!
Time for the shoes to go back on, and head out to make the most of the beautiful evening light showering the grounds…
After a few minutes with the Bride and Groom, it was back to the guests enjoying the evening reception in the grounds of The Moat House.
From the gardens it was time to come back in the the Acton Suite for the cutting of the cake, and to get the party underway!
As my coverage came to and end just as the night was getting underway, it was only right to take the Bride and Groom outside for a couple of evening portraits to bring their story to a fitting close…
Hannah + Will, I just want to thank you for inviting me in to your wedding, I truly had a blast capturing your day!
