A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Clare and Adam’s wedding at the fabulous Keele Hall in Staffordshire. Fortunately the weather was again on my side and we all had a great day together from the preparations in the morning at The Old Hall at Madeley, through the day and evening celebrations at the hall.
The whole day felt very special to be part of, not least of all because of how important the day was with the starting of a new family around the bravest little man – Clare’s son Ollie.
The finer details and plans all came together perfectly, from Clare’s dress from Mix’n’Match Bridalwear, the suits from Greenwoods in Stafford, the hair and makeup styling by Aveda in Stafford and the flowers and cake lovingly created by friends Pat and Sharon respectively.
Despite working throughout Staffordshire for nearly 15 years photographing weddings, it was my first visit to Keele Hall and I can honestly not wait to get back – with fantastic grounds and the stunning character the building holds, it’s a perfect setting for weddings. Carol helped the day flow perfectly at the hall, with the day being exactly the day Clare + Adam dreamed of.
