It’s been a while since I’ve been invited to photograph a Greek Christening, and visiting St Lukes Church in Edgbaston after a few years it was remarkable to see how much time and effort, along with investment, there has been from the Greek Community – St Luke’s really is a beautiful church.
It was a real pleasure to share the afternoon with the family and to document the important moment in Ioannis’ life, and also to document it in the new way I approach things, getting as close to the action as possible, trying to deliver the viewer into the moment…
