Stunning Summer Wedding by Heath House Wedding Photographer Tean
I love visiting venues that are new to me – especially when they’re as stunning as The Heath House!
When Zoe and David first contacted me about their day, and wanted to keep things as relaxed and fun as possible, I knew we were going to have a day to remember!
From the early afternoon preparations to the outdoor ceremony – with the rain holding off just long enough – to the relaxed and entertaining evening, the day had it all.
Zoe + David brought such a relaxed atmosphere to the day, which carried through into the day.
The little touches from the couple added so much character, with the Scrabble tiles providing almost too much fun for the guests!
The Heath House is such a stunning setting and when the weather was on-side, it was fabulous to see the guests enjoying the amazing gardens!
My coverage of their day started with the preparations of the bridal party in the hands of the ladies from C1 Lichfield.
With the boys arrived and the garden games set up and ready, it was time to get ready for the ceremony!
Leaving David to wrestle with his tie, it was back to our bride who looked divine in her dress!
As things were getting a little serious – knee in the back anyone? – I headed down to capture the arrival of the guests for the ceremony.
With the weather holding off, we were treated to the fabulous outdoor ceremony in the gardens at The Heath House – such an amazing space!
As the groom and best man set off for the ceremony, it was time for one of my favourite moments of the wedding – the reveal of the stunning bride to her father – what a fabulous reaction:
Sometimes the light just falls perfectly:
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Heath House
From the walk up the gardens to the guests waiting for the ceremony, this was one special journey to document.
The space for the ceremony in such incredible surroundings was so special to see.
Quite possibly my favourite moment, however, came from the couple’s chosen reading “Falling in Love is like Owning a Dog” by Taylor Mali – a reading we had at our wedding too!
With the stunning music from the Birmingham Conservatoire String Trio, it was time for the confetti exit of our bride and groom!
Heath House Wedding Photographers
Following the family group photographs, it was time to steal my bride and groom away from their guests for a few minutes, to make the most of the incredible setting of The Heath House.
The gardens are just stunning, and as the shower passed away, we were left with the perfect day to enjoy!
Creative Candid Photographs of the Wedding Day
With the addition of the garden games, and having so much space to enjoy, the guests certainly enjoyed the afternoon reception. Capturing everyone enjoying themselves, with creative candid photographs showing the real fun of the wedding day.
Marquee Wedding Breakfast at The Heath House
The permanent marquee is such a stunning setting for the wedding breakfast – giving space to relax and enjoy the afternoon and evening of the wedding.
Zoe + David brought so many personal touches to their wedding, from the personal cocktails to the hand-baked biscuits (baked by the groom himself!), to the names in Scrabble tiles…which provided a dark twist as the afternoon proceeded and alcohol flowed! ????
Wedding Speeches at The Heath House
Following the beautiful wedding breakfast by Ridgway Caterers, it was time for the speeches.
From the Father of the Bride’s “off the cuff” speech, to the groom and finally the best man – or best men to be more precise – it was a great bit of entertainment and sentiment for the guests to enjoy.
Stunning Summer Wedding Evening at The Heath House
There’s something incredibly special about summer weddings – not least of all the incredible light that blesses the evening!
And to say we were spoilt on Zoe + David’s day is somewhat of a huge understatement!
Just wow! As I say, spoilt!
From the relaxed evening portraits with the bride and groom, it was time for the cake cutting and first dance – which with Zoe + David having recently enjoyed starting dance lessons was always going to be pretty special!
I do love the Wood Fired Pizza Company! Great theatre and damned tasty too ????
Creative Wedding Photographs at The Heath House
Having been blessed with stunning light already, this conclusion was something else…
From the more traditional SJP night portraits…that sky…wow! That’s how I like to end a wedding story!
Zoe + David, thank you for entrusting your memories to me.
I loved every second with you all and I’m so glad the weather despite affecting our first attempt at a group shot, soon let off and let us enjoy the day.
I cannot wait to sit down with you both and bring the finished story together.
