Hadley Park House Telford Wedding Photographer
Each and every wedding is so incredibly special, but adding in to the mix knowing the Bride and Groom for years before, it add’s a certain extra special feeling to the day…
I’ve known Emma and her family for many years through my corporate photography, and as soon as Emma + Darren brought their plans together they came to me for the photography, and I really could not have been happier!
On the lead up to the big day we had the opportunity to spend an afternoon together at the gorgeous Trentham Gardens for a pre-wedding shoot, and from then on, I knew the day was going to be an absolute blast with them both – as not only are they both stunning people, we had so much fun together too!
The day of the wedding started with capturing the morning preparations of Emma and the girls at Julie + Mick’s, where under the fabulous hands of Sally ‘Scissorhands‘ Thomas on hair duty, and Natalie on MakeUp everyone was looking perfect!
Capturing the morning is such an important part of the story, with so much emotion flowing round, it really is such a special time!
Emma made the fabulous choice of just having her mom Julie help her into her dress, before the grand reveal to everyone downstairs… It was so special witnessing the important moment with them both…
A quiet moment, and Emma caught deep in thought before the excitement of the grand reveal to a very cool Father of the Bride and rather excited Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaids.
The ceremony for Emma + Darren was at the gorgeous St Mary & St Chads Church, Brewood, and on arriving it was fabulous to hear the bells ringing for everyones arrival…being rung by Emma’s granddad!
As the excitement and anticipation built, it was finally time for the arrival of our beautiful bride…
One of my favourite moments to capture…the many faces of the waiting groom, at the entrance of the Bride!
St Mary & St Chads is such a gorgeous church, and with the fabulous spring weather shining through the windows, the lighting was truly stunning!
Love that reaction!
From the confetti exit from St Mary + St Chads, it was to the beautiful Hadley Park House in Telford, travelling in style in the gorgeous Bentley Continentals from Manns Limouosines.
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many weddings at Hadley Park over the years from their very first wedding when photographing alongside Barry James Photography. Over the years it really has matured into a stunning venue, with so many beautiful features for photographs…
Emma + Darren really did look fabulous on their day, and I loved the flowers from the fabulous Lynne at Fine Flowers, Rugeley.
Emma’s dress from The Bridal Rooms in Lichfield was really perfect, and only complimented by the bridesmaids gowns from KissXX in Lichfield. And it has to be said, Darren and the boys really scrubbed up well in their suits from the always perfect Kevin Paul Menswear in Hednesford!
The orangery at Hadley Park looked quite fabulous for the wedding breakfast!
It was wonderful being invited to sit as a guest for the wedding breakfast, and to be sat with the lovely Becky + Paul whose wedding I photographed at St Marys Church and Chillington Hall a couple of years ago, and to spend time catching up during the meal was wonderful – thank you Emma + Darren :)
What an entrance! Love it!
The speeches as always did not disappoint – one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph!
Mick’s Father of the Bride speech was brilliant…as the candid photographs of the expressions show!
Darren held his nerves together perfectly and delivered a great speech…only trumped by his hilarious brothers speech as Best Man!
Emma + Darren added fabulous theatre to the afternoon with a close up magician providing brilliant entertainment!
The cake for Emma + Darren was made by Darren’s mom Tracey – check out her fabulous work here!
For something a little different, Emma + Darren planned and perfectly executed a choreographed first dance – just brilliant!
As a final surprise, it was to Darren’s mom and dad who planned for a fireworks show to complete the evening – just fabulous!
And to finish, it was back to one of my favourite doorways for a nighttime portrait of Emma + Darren.
It was brilliant to be photographing the day alongside The Big Day Productions whose video footage was quite stunning!
