Helping You To Plan The Perfect Wedding

Weducation with Wedding Espresso and Special Guests

Clearing the confusion when you're considering choosing the right photographer for your wedding with Documentary Wedding Photographer Stuart James

Trying to plan your wedding really can feel like a minefield. With so many choices available, and everyone telling you different things, it feels quite confusing.
I’ve been bringing together helpful talks with wedding suppliers over the start of this year, and there are many more to come too, and I’ve brought together loads of valuable information on the blog also.

Following on from this content, I was approached by the lovely James and Rachel from Wedding Espresso to be a guest on one of their live events. Bringing together experienced professionals in the wedding industry each event opens conversation for planning YOUR wedding. Talking not only about our fields of expertise but also answering wider questions posed during the event!

The live event I had the pleasure to be part of included the lovely Nicola from Five Star Wedding Dance, Chrys from Chrys Chapman Makeup Artist, and James from Wedding Espresso.

I found it so informative listening to everyone talking and learnt so much – and hopefully shared a great insight into choosing a wedding photographer too.

It really is so confusing knowing where to start when choosing a wedding photographer, which is why I brought together a comprehensive post on the subject: Don’t book your wedding photographer until you’ve read this guide!

During the live event I talked through the topic of style and trying to cover any questions – but please do ask away in the comments if I can clear up any other questions for you!

First Dance Lessons for your Wedding

Five Star Wedding Dance

As someone who merely shuffled around the dancefloor during his wedding, I can appreciate the value of having dance lessons.
With the benefit of being able to put on an amazing show for your guests, but also feel incredibly confident too, I can wholeheartedly recommend checking out Nicola’s work on her website and facebook

However, it’s not just about the first dance, but featured and fun pieces with the wedding party too – check out the live video to hear more!

Makeup Lessons and Expert Guidance for Your Wedding Makeup

Picture

Chrys Chapman is a makeup artist who really knows her craft, with her passion and knowledge showing through during the interview.

Offering so many fabulous services including on-the-day makeup, but also makeup lessons for your wedding.

Feeling comfortable and confident in your wedding makeup can be such a concern: Nicola from Five Star Wedding Dance is currently experiencing this dilemma searching for the perfect makeup-artist for her wedding!
If you do not typically wear much makeup, ensuring everything feels and looks natural is so important. Whilst having the right makeup artist is great, if you want to look after your own makeup, gaining the experience needed through training is so valuable!

Do check out Chrys on her website and on facebook and hear more from her during the live video which you can see here.

Weducation Topic of the Night: Great Ideas for Wedding Favours

The hot topic of the night was all about wedding favours!

I love it when a couple do something unique for their wedding favours – we did something to tie in both mine and Beki’s careers on our wedding day, along with the location of the wedding too:

Local gin and whisky, film canisters with a personal message, Kendal Mint Cake and personalised pencils – simple but fun for us!

Over the years I have seen many fabulous ideas from couples: from Booth’s Tea for the new Mr & Mrs Booth, to bespoke mugs and cups, to tying the favours into the theme of the wedding. I think the biggest tip here is do something that’s YOU!

James shared the fabulous favours that he and his wife created for their wedding – individually potted plans, dressed beautifully for each guest, not only providing the guests with favours, but adding colour and decoration to the tables too – just marvellous!

Hear more tips from everyone on the live video which you can find here: LIVE VIDEO WITH WEDDING ESPRESSO!

If you have any questions following the video, please do leave a message on the system, or drop me a line!
