Relaxed Engagement Portraits with Brewood Photographer Stuart James
Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending a little time with JP and Sean ahead of their March wedding.
Meeting just a few feet from where they will soon be getting married in Brewood, we set off for a relaxed portrait session.
I’ve always loved engagement sessions with my couples, as it not only allows me the opportunity to get my clients relaxed in-front of the camera but also allows me to get to know my couples too.
Come the wedding day; everything flies by so quickly. The time to get comfortable with the camera isn’t there. Plus, with the extra emotions on the wedding day, getting to relax can be a little tricky.
Engagement shoots are the perfect opportunity to bridge this gap.
Spending a relaxed afternoon together, walking and talking, and creating beautiful natural portraits, allows the experience of being photographed to be elevated. The nerves are all removed, instead replaced by excitement!
JP + Sean are getting married at St Mary’s Church in Brewood at the start of March, before their reception at the sublime Weston Park.
I couldn’t wait for the big day to arrive before I’d spent time with JP + Sean last week, but after hearing more about them and their day, and of course photographing them too, I really cannot wait now!
Such a relaxed and stunning couple, coming back to the place Sean grew up with his family in Brewood, to tie the knot in front of their friends and family. Fingers crossed for weather on our side because I know this wedding is going to be stunning!
