Last week I was back in the stunning setting of Sutton Park at the waterside Boathouse at Bracebridge Pool to share Sue + Jerry’s intimate wedding on what proved to be a stunning summers afternoon.
I love the variety of weddings I get to share, from great lavish Greek weddings for hundreds of people, to intimate weddings with only a handful of guests, from grand manor houses or exclusive hotels through to beautiful restaurants tucked away in stunning park land.
Sue + Jerry’s wedding at The Boathouse in Sutton Park was a beautiful intimate wedding and a true pleasure to share.
I hope you enjoy sharing this little insight into their wedding day.
Sutton Park is always a stunning setting for photographs, and with a beautiful summers day, Sue + Jerry were headed for a fantastic day from the start.
As well as being the coming together of man and wife, with Sue and Jerry both having childen – here Sue’s daughter is leading the entrance to the ceremony with her son walking her to her her new husband – it was also the coming together of two families.
With Jerry’s daughter playing a key role in the ceremony with their chosen reading it was wonderful the whole family was involved.
With the setting of the woods and the wonderful open pool at Bracebridge it really is a stunning setting for wedding portraits.
Sue and Jerry certainly put their own stamp on the Boathouse with their chosen decoration which suited the setting perfectly.
It was great to be back at the Boathouse and it was a pleasure to share Sue + Jerry’s day.
