Ahead of their wedding at Packington Moor later this month, I got to spend a little time on a gorgeous summers evening with Lisa + Richard, getting to talk about the plans for the big day, and also getting to put the fabulous couple in front of the camera…and banishing any camera nerves in the process!
Making the time to enjoy the pre-wedding session on the lead up to the big day really has a huge benefit to the wedding, both in the relationship built between the couple and myself, but more importantly allowing time to get used to being posed – and photographed – before the big day arrives.
Lisa + Richard made the trip from Mansfield to come and spend the evening with me, to be my last shoot before heading off the California!!, and I’m so glad we were able to spend the time together.
Blessed with a simply gorgeous evening, we enjoyed roaming around Barton Marina, working with the warm summers light, and making the most of the gorgeous sunset that came to conclude the evening, before we of course enjoyed a little bit more of a catchup over a light refreshment at the Waterfront…
Here are some of my favourites from Lisa + Richard’s Barton Marina Engagement Portraits.
