The very first time I photographed a wedding at The Ashes in Endon I was hooked – such a stunning venue, set in beautiful grounds, just full of opportunities for photographs and so much space to let the wedding party relax and enjoy their day. A venue that has also refused to stay-still, instead making sure it remains one of the most perfect venues around.
Sheree and Tim’s day for me started in the nearby cottages in the village where they were both getting ready in the company of their friends and family.
When families come together on a wedding morning, complete with close friends, and the addition of children, emotions are flowing fantastically providing and endless stream of photographs to create.
The mood on Sheree’s morning was very touching to absorb; from the excitement and natural emotion of her parents, to those of her best friends who had flown in from Australia for the wedding, and Sheree herself – especially when presented with Tim’s very thoughful wedding morning gift!
The wedding at the barns at the Ashes was as beautiful as ever, with the excitement on Tim’s face clear to see.
Having spent time with Sheree and Tim on two occasions leading up to their day, including a fabulous afternoon for their engagement session, when it came to the portraits we really had such a blast together.
As the day progressed, the relaxed spirit took over, with everyone relaxing and enjoying each others company, right through to the fabulous party on the evening.
The Ashes always provides a fabulous setting for a wedding, and Sheree and Tim’s was certainly no exception to the rule.
