On Saturday in the middle of all the heavy rain that was pounding the country, I got to head in the car to Christchurch in Burntwood for Katie + Nick’s wedding. Coming to me only a few weeks before their wedding from a recommendation, I was delighted to be available for their day, and amazingly following the wedding ceremony there was the most perfectly timed opening in the weather allowing us not only the opportunity to capture the all important family photographs at the church, but also allowed us to explore the beautiful setting in the middle of Cannock Chase – Beau Desert Golf Club.
Although I’d been to Beau Desert before to photograph a wedding, it had been a considerable amount of time, and coming back was certainly a pleasure. With the weather on our side we were able to explore the surroundings of the golf club and capture relaxed portraits of the bride and groom that makes it look like they’re in the middle of a forest – such a great place to work.
