St Marks Great Wyrley + Weston Hall Stafford Wedding Photographer
Becky and Ryan came to my from a recommendation from the same company as Emma and Darren the week before – I’ve clearly made an impact with AFB!
When I first sat down with Becky and Ryan at our studio, we all hit it off so well, and I just knew there day was going to be pretty special…especially being at one of my favourite venues, Weston Hall in Stafford.
With a day starting with the girls in Wednesfield before returning to my local church of St Marks Great Wyrley, the whole day was so incredibly relaxed…even if the emotions did start to flow in abundance as soon as the presents were opened! Ryan, you cutie with that ring!!
From the lovely relaxed feeling ceremony at the Parish Church, the reception was quite perfect too, with the sun beating down on everyone who were able to enjoy the fabulous terrace at Weston Hall.
Here’s how the day unfolded, starting with the lovely Katy Bird looking after our stunning bride Becky…
What do you do if you have to wear flats on your wedding day…buy Jimmy Choo of course!
I love being in the room to capture the reactions as gifts were opened, especially as the emotion builds and the tears begin to show…
After the makeup was touched to perfection, it was time for that gorgeous dress from Mi Amor Bridal.
St Marks Parish Church in Great Wyrley has long been a popular church on our calendar, and these days being only round the door from my studio, it seems appropriate to be there…
I still cannot get over how perfect the weather was for Becky and Ryan…true summer weather, rather than late spring…
Two of my favourite shots from the wedding, with our gorgeous glowing bride’s arrival…
It was fabulous having the freedom to capture the wedding ceremony, and being blessed with perfect weather as we exited the church, I could not have been happier!
Oops…
Thankfully, the Bride and Groom did eventually get underway and arrived at the stunning Weston Hall!
With the gorgeous weather on our side, the guests were able to relax and enjoy the fabulous setting of Weston Hall with drinks on the terrace.
The grounds of Weston Hall are absolutely beautiful to photograph weddings around, and with everything so close together, it means the guests are never too far away…
And it has to be said, not only did our Bride look stunning in her gown from Mi Amor, and the Bridesmaids gorgeous in their dresses from Lucy Alexander in Stafford, but Ryan and the boys scrubbed up fabulously in their suits from Duncan James.
What a truly beautiful couple!!
From the big group it was time for a surprise dove release for the Bride and Groom!
The main function room, The Westminster Suite, at Weston Hall is a fabulous space for the wedding breakfast, bathed in gorgeous natural light from the wall of feature windows. With the fabulous styling and detail from Sorella Events, the room truly looked perfect!
Documenting the wedding speeches is always one of my favourite times of the wedding, and with the fabulous reactions from all of the speeches, I was treated to so many great moments to capture!
Leaving everyone to enjoy the wedding breakfast, it was great to explore the gardens of Weston Hall, with the lambs coming over for an investigation.
Spending time capturing the guests enjoying the wedding breakfast and reception at Weston Hall…only to spot the groom ‘borrowing’ a ladies earring and realising his old piercing was still open…hilarious!!
From the meal I always love to take time with my bride and groom for further portraits in the golden light of the evening, and these produced some of my favourite images from Becky + Ryan’s day…
From the few minutes with Becky + Ryan, it was soon back to letting everyone relax and capture the story of the evening, with the guests making the most of the fabulous Mirror Booth photobooth! You can actually hire a similar booth from my good friends at Design Elegance – do check them out!
Capturing the cutting of the gorgeous cake from Gordons Cakes! It truly matched the bouquet from Sorella Events perfectly!
I do love the dance floor at Weston Hall, with entertainment from the ever professional Blaze Entertainment.
My coverage concluded shortly after the first dance for Becky and Ryan, but I couldn’t resist bringing them back to the gardens for a final evening portrait session to conclude their story…
Thank you so much for inviting me to share your day Becky and Ryan, I truly had the most amazing time with you both and all of your gorgeous friends and family, truly some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet…
