Iona and James are an absolutely stunning couple whom I first met back in October last year, and as soon as we sat down and discussed their plans and ideas for their wedding day, I knew my photography would sit as the perfect match for them.
I spent a little time with Iona + James on the lead up to their wedding, not only getting to put the couple in front of the camera around Victoria Park Stafford but also meeting their gorgeous Staffie Lotte too – who made a subtle appearance at the wedding, with her tag being Iona’s something blue on her bouquet…
My day started with Iona and the girls at their home in Stafford, where working with the fabulous Emma Shackleton again the finishing touches were put into place, and with the nerves under control Iona and her bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in their gowns. Not that I expected anything else knowing Iona!
From the house I joined James and the boys at the church for the ceremony.
Being blessed with stunning weather on the day things could not have been set up more perfectly for the most amazing wedding, and with the little touches including the beautiful cars and then arriving at Sandon Hall via Horse + Carriage, and the lovely personal touches throughout, the day was simply perfect from start to end.
Iona’s something blue… Lottie’s dog tag! Fantastic!
A proud dad waiting in anticipation…
Iona’s dad’s face on the above photo really says so much…
I absolutely adore this wedding cake from Amerton Cakes with the fabulously creative addition of Lottie peeking from under the cake…beautiful!
Final swatting up on the speech notes before the moment arrived…
Iona and James’ wedding was an absolute pleasure to be a part of and I cannot wait to get the finished album in their hands.
